The project required not only meticulous planning but also seamless execution. With a combination of precision lifting, industry expertise, and teamwork, we delivered an exceptional outcome, delighting our client.

The lifts involved two NMT cranes: our two Liebherrs; The Liebherr LTM 1120, expertly suited for the first lift, and Sarens’ Liebherr LTM 1750, brought in for the second heavy lift. Each lift had its unique challenges, including radius of 52 metres and 72 metres, all within a high-risk environment.

As 2025 begins, NMT Crane Hire is hitting the ground running with the addition of two state-of-the-art DAF XG vehicles to its fleet.

This investment marks the continuation of a focused effort to modernise and expand NMT’s operations, ensuring our business meets the growing demands of clients.

The purchase, made through longstanding partners Brian Currie of Milton Keynes, reinforces a relationship built over years of trust and quality service.

Since 1977, the Brian Currie name has been synonymous with excellence in the haulage industry, and NMT is proud to return to them once again for this important upgrade.

Brian Currie, the namesake of the Milton Keynes-based haulage provider, commented on the ongoing collaboration.

Speaking about the new additions, JD Ambridge, Managing Director at NMT, said: “We have a longstanding partnership with Brian Currie of Milton Keynes, and we’re delighted to be once again purchasing new vehicles from them.

“We are going through a real period of investment, following the acquisition of a new 300T Liebherr, the LTM 1300-6.2, the third 300-tonner in the fleet, and now these new DAF XGs.

“We are busy, and our fleet needs to reflect that. That’s why we’ve invested, ensuring we have the best equipment available to meet demand and maintain a reliable and exceptional service our clients expect.”
